Even I like to nibble once in a while;-) (not so much into sweets) And if I have one of my very rare sweet craving attacks my coconut energy balls are just the perfect go to! These little energy balls are sugar free, provide the right nutrients, are charged with power and taste sooo good.

Coconut Energy Balls

  • 15 dates *Medjoul or Deglet Nour*
  • 150g almonds *optional cashew mush*
  • 1 tablespoon of raw cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon of hemp seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of almond mush *optional cashews*
  • 4 big spoons full of coconut flakes
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons of extra coconut flakes for the final coat.

Remove the cores of the dates and quarter them. Put the almonds into a blender and shred the roughly.  Blend the dates until you have generated a nice mass. Now add all ingredients *except for the 2 tablespoons of coconut flakes* into a kitchen machine and knead / mix everything very well. Moist your hands and form some cute little balls out of the date dough. Finally toss the little power balls within the coconut flakes and store them for 1 hour in the fridge.

My tip: I usually store my energy balls in the fridge because I prefer them cold.

Have a powerful day;-)
