It’s about time for a tasty and healthy sherbet to go! Our little ones are welcome to visit my blog as well;-)

We all know that our kids can’t get enough of ice cream, so I thought to my self that it would be a great Idea to surprise you all with 3 instead of 1 sort of fruit ice cream.

Not only your kids will be happy about it but I am pretty sure that you will like it as well. You’ll get 3 easy and amazing recipes in one blog.

Oh and since these sherbet variations are sugar and dairy free, I am sure that you will allow your kids to have 2 at once. Right Mommy?!;-)

3 Healthy & Fruity Sherbet Variations

Ingredients for the super fruity orange sherbet:

  • The indication of quantity equals 8 sherbet forms
  • 6 juicy and ripe oranges
  • 100ml sugar free apple juice
  • 1-2 tablespoons of rice syrup *Optional: Honey*

Ingredients for the strawberry sherbet:

The indication of quantity equals 8 sherbet forms

400g fresh and super ripe strawberries

200ml red grape juice *sugar free*

2 vanilla beans

2 tablespoons of rice syrup *Optional: Honey*

Ingredients for the mango sherbet:

The indication of quantity equals 8 sherbet popsicles

ok, here’s a little tip from my side: If you want the mango sherbet to have a super strong mango flavor, then spoil your self with a so called flight mango.

I know that they are significantly more expensive but you will taste a big difference.  If this mango sherbet is unbeatable if made out of a flight mango;-)

  • 1 ripe flight mango
  • 150-200 ml mango juice *without sugar*
  • 1-2 tablespoon of rice syrup *Optional: Honey*

 

Preparation of the fruity orange sherbet

  1. Halve the oranges, squeeze them and fill the juice into your blender. Add the apple juice, the rice syrup and mix everything very well. Fill the juice into ice cream forms and store them for 1 our in your freezer. After 1 hour, push 1 wooden stick into each of the forms and let them freeze entirely.

Preparation for the strawberry sherbet

  1. Clean and halve the strawberries. Halve the vanilla bean lengthwise and scratch out the essence with a small spoon or a knife.
  2. Give all the ingredients into a blender and puree everything very well. Fill the mush into your forms and let them freeze for 1 hour in your freezer. Afterwards push the wooden sticks into the mush and continue to freeze them until they are ready.

Preparation for the mango sherbet

  1. Peel the mango, detach the pulp from the stone and fill the pulp along with the juice into the blender and mix everything very well. Depending on how ripe the mango is, you’ll probably only need 1/2 a tablespoon or 1 tablespoon of rice syrup. Add the syrup and mix the mango mush once more.
  2. Fill the mush into your prepared forms and store them for 1 hour in your freezer.  After 1 hour, push the wooden sticks into the forms, store them back into the freezer and continue to freeze them until they are ready.
