Refreshing Watermelon-Lemon-Slush With Lot’s Of Protein
Summer fruit melon:
I must admit, I am a huge melon fan. Wether it is a honeydew melon, a futoro melon, a nutmeg melon, a galia-melon or a water melon – I love them all. The best about this fruit is that it is low in calories, high in water, their fresh and juicy, tasty and low in histamine. Gosh, I love melons! ♥
And here is my refreshing water melon-slush recipe.
Refreshing Watermelon-Lemon-Slush With Lot’s Of Protein
- 1 small water melon
- 2 tablespoon of hemp seeds
- 1 lime
- Fresh mint leaves
- Rice syrup *optional*
Store the glasses in the freezer for about 2 hours. Juice the lime. Put the water melon pulp and all the other ingredients *except for the rice syrup* into a blender and mix everything well. Fill the melon puree into a plain baking form and store it according to your desired consistency within the freezer for about 2 hours. Once in a while stir. Before you serve, clean the mint leaves and put them aside for a moment. Fill the slush into the ice cold glasses and finally decorate them with the mint leaves and enjoy the slush immediately.
Have lot’s of success and a beautiful summer day ♥
