Vegan mousse au chocolat

As you may already know… Deserts are not really my specialty, since I am more into “salty stuff” 😉 But nevertheless, today I created a true classic for you.

Mousse au chocolat and it is even vegan.

I decided to choose this version on purpose because I couldn’t taste a difference to the “normal” mousse au chocolat. It tastes as fluffy and creamy as a none vegan mousse. Did I really just write that ?? 😉 Indeed, it is suuuper tasty and I am very curious about your opinion.

Vegan mousse au chocolat

  • 200 g (70-80%)  bitter chocolate *If possible, vegan & sugar-free – Available in vegan supermarkets*
  • 200g whipped soy cream *Schlagfix*
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut blossom sugar *Optional: Birch sugar,  2 tablespoons of rice syrup or agave syrup*
  • Some grated chocolate for the decoration

Melt the chocolate and the sugar in a bowl over a pot of simmering water. In the meantime whisk the soy cream until it’s firm. Stir the melted chocolate very well and lift it under the whipped cream. Sore the bowl in the fridge for about 2 hours so that the mousse can become nice and firm. Before you serve the mousse, sprinkle a little bit of the grated chocolate over and enjoy.

I wish lots of success and even more fun with the feast;-)

I’m always happy and grateful to read some of your nice comments.

Yours Micha ♥
