Healthy Popsicles – The cool summer refreshment
Ice, ice baby………
Is there better refreshment on a hot hot summer day than a cool ice-popsicle? I don’t think so! This popsicle is easy to make, super refreshing and simply amazing! Yeah! I love the summer ♥
Healthy Popsicles - The cool summer refreshment
- You might need some more water because it really depends on how big your forms are.
- 1 lime *Optional: Lemon*
- A handful of fresh mint leaves Handvoll frische
- 150ml water
- 1-2 tablespoon of agave syrup *Optional: Rice syrup, or apple syrup*
- ca 16 small mint leaves extra
Squeeze the lime and leave it aside. Clean the mint and shake it dry.
Give the water, the handful of mint and the agave syrup into a high vessel and puree everything with an immersion blender. Add the lime juice sip by sip and stir well.
In the meantime test the taste.
According to how sour you want your popsicles to be, simply add some more lime juice.
If you prefer your ice popsicles a bit sweeter, add more syrup.
Now add 4 mint leaves into each of the forms, fill it up with the juice and then store the forms inside your freezer until the juice is frozen. And that’s it;-)
Oh……. If you react to lemons or limes, simply substitute them through oranges.
PS: I ordered my silicone ice cube forms at Amazon. They are super convenient and practical! You can fill them with whatever you want, staple them and they are available in many different shapes;-) Micha ♥
