Pepper hummus
Hummus with a twist. Pair hummus with freshly baked bread, some veggie nibblers or tacos. Try it out!
Ingredients:
150 g of chickpeas
100 g Tahini *sesame paste out of the glass & without sugar*
2 cloves of garlic
1 red pepper
3 tablespoons of lemon juice
2 tablespoons of cold-pressed olive oil
1/2 teaspoon paprika powder (sweet)
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Sea salt
Some fresh pepper from the mill
Preparation:
Preheat the oven up to 200 degrees.
Peel and chop the garlic. Clean the pepper, remove the seeds, halve the pepper and bake it in the oven until the skin turned very dark. Next take it out of the oven, let it cool down and peel of the skin. Now fill the chickpeas, the oil, the garlic and the lemon juice into a mixing vessel and mash everything roughly. Add the tahini, the pepper, slowly continue to mix and finally season with the spices.
Enjoy;-)
