Fruity Strawberry Jam
When I was a child my favorite fruits were strawberries. I guess, since our garden was full of wild strawberries every single summer its no wonder that I will never forget the delicious and sweet flavor of the strawberries.
Fruity Strawberry Jam
- 500 g of fresh & ripe strawberries
- 6 tablespoons of white chia seeds
- 1 vanilla-pulp
- 1-2 tablespoons of maple syrup *add according to the sweetness of the strawberries*
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
Clean the strawberries and puree them with the immersion blender, process them until you have a slightly rough cream. Fill the strawberry mush into a pot, slowly increase the heat and add the remaining ingredients under continuous stirring. Let the jam simmer until it is thick and firm. Then, fill the fruity jam into two small glasses, seal them and store them within the fridge for a few hours.
