Which other variations are possible?

You’ve tried my extremely fluffy gnocchi dough and you are asking yourself what else you can do with it?

No worries because this is exactly why I’ve created Micha’s blog. Here I can talk about certain topics more in detail and I can answer your remaining questions as well. Isn’t that great? 😉 I’m not sure if you’ve tried my gnocchi dough already, but if not then it’s about time because you can create many different & delicious variations with it.

You can create the classic version with the typical fork pattern, you can form them into little balls or into an oval shape. Whatever you choose it won’t have any bad influence on the taste, it’s just all in your mind;-) I personally love the fork pattern and I am convinced that they taste better but that’s total nonsense since the dough is the same.

As I said, it’s all in your mind 😉

  1. What you can see in the picture above is the classic gnocchi with the fork pattern, without pattern, oval and round;-)

In addition there is a super tasty broccoli, rucola and spinach version as well. By the way, the last version is one of my favorite autumn dishes. But let’s not forget the classic gnocchis with some sage butter and some crunchy, browned sage leaves. Woahhhhhhhhh suuuuuuper!  To be honest… I could take a bath in that sauce. Gosh, my mouth is watering and it’s just 10:00 o’clock in the morning. Thats usually time for a coffee break 🙂 But I am glad that I’ve written this article because… Now I know what we will have for dinner tonight.  Gnocchis with sage butter AND I’ll use the leftovers to prepare the spinach version as well. The dough is ready anyway and  I have some spinach left in the fridge.

Hihihihihihi.

And if you think that was all then think twice because the agony of choice is not over yet! Have you ever combined onions with gnocchis? No? Well then it’s about time! Simply brown some onion dices within some oil and let them drain on a kitchen paper afterwards. Afterwards add the dried, golden onion dices into the raw dough and and form it according to however you want them to be. Cook them for 3-4 minutes within simmering water and afterwards turn them within some marjoram, parsley or thyme butter.

Fantastic!

Serve the gnocchis on a plate, scatter some grated parmesan over *vegan or non vegan* and your perfect culinary delight is ready. Unfortunately I can’t present you all the different gnocchi variations since I don’t have enough dough, but I can offer you the sage and spinach gnocchis with pleasure because those are the ones we will have for dinner 🙂 Oh by the way, another delicious variation comes to my mind. Red beet gnocchis with a fine pesto AND Micha’s special tomato sauce… Taaaasty!! If you are super hungry now and you would like to have one of my recipes , simply leave a comment under this blog post and I’ll see what I can do;-)

But now curtain call for my dinner;-) Gnocchis with crunchy, fried sage leaves and my next favorite food…

et voila… Spinach gnocchi with freshly grated parmesan and some crunchy salad. Yesssss, this made my day. Wooohooo********

I hope you liked todays blog and that you are now provided with even more great tipps to work with!!

Have a great week full of joy, sunshine and fortune ♥

Micha
