And this is supposed to taste well? Oh yes, definitely! I can only say: TRY TRY TRY;-)
Ok, I don’t want to keep waiting any longer. You really need to try out this recipe, I am pretty sure you will fall in love with this apple crumble cake! I will leave you know with no further words since I am in the middle of another nice recipe for you which needs all of my attention;-)
Insanely delicious!
And here is the recipe:
Ingredients for the dough and the crumble:
200g buckwheat flour
150g ground almonds
120g coconut blossom sugar
140g vegan butter
1 pulp of vanilla
A pinch of salt
Ingredients for the filling:
8 apples
2 tablespoon of apple mush *sugar free*
1 tablespoon of cinnamon
Some lemon juice
An extra hand full of ground almonds for the spring form.
Preparation:
Preheat the oven up to 180 degrees / circulation heat. For the dough and the crumble fill all the dry ingredients into a bowl and add little chunks of butter. Cut the vanilla pod lengthways open, scratch out the essence and add it to the dry ingredients. Now use your hands and process everything until you have some nice crumbles. Cover the inside of the spring form with some butter or coconut fat, coat it with the ground almonds so that the dough will not stick to the spring form in the end.
Use half of the crumbles and push them into the spring form, creating a little edge around the wall of the form. Peel the apples, remove the seeds, cut them into thin slices, add them into a bowl, sprinkle lemon juice over, add some cinnamon on top and mix everything very well. Distribute the apples on top of the dough ground and in the end use a brush to cover the apples with the apple mush.
Now simply add the remaining crumbles, scatter them over and shove the form into the oven for about 30 minutes. Turn the oven off after the baking time, open the door and let the cake cool down within. Well, the thought of a lukewarm piece of cake and a fresh coffee is even tempting for me;-)
Speaking of coffee: Please don’t forget to reduce the amount of coffee down to one cup a day served with a big glass of still water. Just do it like the Italians. The always serve one glass of water to an espresso. Smart guys those Italians;-) Enough said, I need to go back to the stove! See you later and by the way… Feel free to leave a comment if you like. (And I am including my english and spanisch speaking friends as well)
Bye for now!
